ENMU needs your help with a new matching grant opportunity.
If the ENMU Foundation donates $15,000 a year for five years, ENMU will receive $458,000 in a grant from the NM ECEC Department.

Together we can all help ENMU receive $533,000 dedicated to the following:
(1) recruiting students from two-year programs to come to ENMU and earn their teaching degrees
(2) increasing the number of indigenous and bilingual early childhood educators graduating with an ENMU associate's or bachelor's degree
(3) offering workshops in best practices to existing childcare centers in Roosevelt, Lea, Eddy, Chavez, and Curry counties.
The most critical need we face in New Mexico is a shortage of highly qualified teachers, especially in the early grades and pre-kindergarten.
